Nomads’ hopes of a run in the prestigious FA Vase ended at the first hurdle, when Wythenshawe Town won 3-0 at the Ideal Building Systems Stadium on August 15.

And, just two days later, the Claret & Blues, suffered their first league defeat of the new season, when Alsager Town left SK3 with all three points after an emphatic 4-1 victory. George Collville grabbed the consolation for Ryan Conroy’s young side.

This Saturday (Aug 22), Nomads hope to bounce back when they travel to the West Midlands for a first-ever game against Wednesfield Community FC.
