After a couple of postponed games, Rory Fallon finally got his first game underway as manager of Nomads when they took on Rocester on Saturday. New signings Robel Kesete, Kwame Osigwe and Harrison Cunningham all made their debuts.
Rocester were bottom of the league and Nomads 3rd from bottom going into the game. Isaac Graham put the home side into the lead inside the first 15 minutes with a header from a Danny Byrnes cross.
Nomads started to play some good-flowing football and were creating chances. It came to fruition when Danny Byrnes picked up the ball outside the box and ghosted past a couple of players before neatly slotting it into the corner of the net. Robel Kesete was continuing to bomb forward and putting some teasing crosses into the box.
Rueben Dass was always a constant menace to the Rocester defence with his direct running and had a couple of half chances. The home team went into the break with a much-deserved 2-0 lead.

The second half was a slightly different game as the away team made two changes at halftime in an attempt to force their way back into the game.
They had a period in the second half when they were controlling possession without creating any clear-cut chances. Changes were made in the second half with Pociask replacing Knight and then later Deering, Byers Wilkes and Blake all entered the field. This gave Nomads extra life and in the 85th minute, Ibrahim scored from a corner to make it 3-0.
Then right at the end, Byers Wilkes scored at the back stick after great work by Blake to confirm the 4-0 win for Nomads. A positive first game for Fallon and plenty to build on in coming games.
