Nomads 6 Styal 0

Cheshire Football League Division One

Nomads fine form continued as they hit Styal for six. This also sees Nomads win for the sixth time in a row and they did it with six different scorers – all in a brilliant second half performance.

A poor first half saw Nomads come in at half time 0-0 after a flat performance. Despite having the majority of possession the home side couldn’t find quality in the final third with Styal having two good chances to go in front.

The second half saw Nomads finally click into gear straight away, a brillint spell saw goals from Sam Lynch, Lewis Price, Sam Deering and George Howarth. Styal had no answer to the increased tempo with Lynch enjoying his best display of the season.

Joel Riley added a fifth with a brilliant goal and with the last kick of the game Reece Skelton opened his league account for the club with a brilliant run and finish.

Nomads: Walker, Orehenomare, D Taylor, Hill, Adams, J Taylor, Tinsley, Price, Deering, Howarth
