Adama Sidibeh has won Nomads’ prestigious Players’ Player of the Year award.

Arriving in November, shortly after new manager, Rory Fallon, the former AFC Blackpool striker made a couple of appearances off the bench, before marking his first start in Claret & Blue with a goal, and man-of-the-match performance, in our 4-2 Boxing Day victory at Cheadle Town.

That was the first of 20 vital goals from the 25-year-old, as Nomads recovered from their precarious, relegation-threatened position to end the campaign in 8th spot, their highest-ever league finish.

“Adama has been outstanding since I brought him in,” enthused Fallon.

“It’s not just the goals he has scored, but the fact he’s also a tremendous team player.

“Everyone knows what a talent he is, and the bright future he has ahead of him.”

Morgan Piper

Goalkeeper, Morgan Piper, won the Committee Player of the Year whilst Jack Warren lifted the Management Team’s award.

“Morgan has put together some brilliant performances in goal, and grown in confidence and stature throughout the season,”added Fallon.

Jack Warren

“And I’d also like to congratulate Jack Warren for his Management award. Those who have watched us this season will testify how good Jack has been since re-signing from Stockport Georgians. He has been extremely consistent in his level of performance.”
