The first home game of the 2021/22 season sees us welcome Abbey Hey to the Proseal stadium as we begin a run of Saturday home fixtures. The next 4 weekends will be home games beginning with today and followed by West Didsbury and Chorlton, then league newcomers FC Isle of man and Rocester who we welcome for the first time.

Like ourselves, todays opponents have yet to secure a win in the opening games of the season, although a 2-2 draw with Stockport town followed by a 2-0 defeat at neighbour’s Cheadle Town sees them with at least a point in the bank, and they will feel unlucky not to have taken anything from the midweek game against Cheadle Town.

Jake Davies team will be looking to bounce back from 2 poor results away from home where we have conceded 8 goals and netted only once through Max Lewens. Davies will take heart from the recent performance, if not the scoreline, at New Mills where Nomads had chances and will hope that todays first home game allows us to get some much needed points on the board.

We extend a warm welcome as always to our visitors and their supporters today and invite you to enjoy the hospitality in the club house as well as our on sites refreshments cabin. Nomads officials will be easily recognisable with their club lanyards so please feel free to ask if you have any questions, they will be happy to assist you.

Entrance is just £5 with £3 concessions and free for under 12’s accompanied by an adult. Please join us for an afternoon of good footballing entertainment
