In the season’s opener at Allscott Heath, Nomads trailed 2-0 before hitting back to claim a point thanks to goals from Dylan Woods and Chigozie Ewelike.

In contrast, Monday night’s game against newly-formed Widnes Town, saw Ryan Conroy’s side race into a deserved 2-0 lead thanks to Ewelike and Dan Lewis.

But they were pegged back when Widnes scored twice after the break to grab a share of the points, in front of an encouraging 110 attendance.

Nomads are at home again this Saturday, when they entertain Wolverhampton Casuals.
